Hello and welcome to omG Artisan Shoppe! We are so thrilled to have you here visiting our little nook here on the internet highway!

So here is a little bit about us. My name is Elissa and my husband's name is Mark. omG Artisan Shoppe is a small business based in Mint Hill, North Carolina.

The inspiration behind omG Artisan Shoppe, originally stems from my blog ohhhhmyGoodness, or as we like to say, omG!  OhhhhmyGoodness has been a way to share and explore the experience and stories of the beauty of art and interior design and styling, those experiences where you find yourself saying, ohhhhmyGoodness! My husband and I have been fortunate enough that we have always enjoyed working with each other in the design and decoration of any of our homes we have lived in. We like to somewhat categorize our style as an elegant eclectic style.

Yet the motivation behind actually starting the omG Artisan Shoppe, began after the responses received from the art I started painting as a way to cope with having lost my mom to pancreatic cancer in 2021.

My mom was a very talented artist. She was art, and art just was who she was. I never thought of myself as an artist but my husband Mark suggested I try painting as a way to cope with missing her. We soon realized I could paint, or so others have said. :) And at the same time, my husband has been a hobbyist wood worker and wood turner and teaching me about how to turn and carve.

We see each day as a new beginning and as a blessing to share and create new stories including creating one-of-a-kind handmade pieces. I am excited to share this next phase in the creation of unique one-of-a-kind pieces of art and artisanry sold thru omG Artisan Shoppe! I hope what omG makes brings you joy and adds to your own story of style and design. Our motto is, more good things to come! And ultimately, creating those moments where you say, ohhhhmyGoodness!
